@Drugs: Yeah unfortunately it is different for each TV, by which I mean each individual TV (it even varies within the same model sometimes) so it is impossible to have an automatic system. You just have to keep tweaking the values until they are right for you :)

Aha, found the option but I have no clue what values I should use. I'll do some testing anyway. Thanks :)

@SubJunk: Where do I set Overscan Compensation? The files play fine on my computer, but just not with MEncoder on my PS3 :\ I've messed with most options in the MEncoder settings (deinterlace filter, skip loop filter deblocking etc.)

@Drugs-Bunny: Yeah the restart thing hasn't been fixed and isn't a high priority. With the double image thing, does that happen when you set overscan compensation values or with them at 0?

Hi, I'm still having problems restarting the media server from the #Video Settings# menu on my ps3. In the traces tab I get stuck at this message; [New I/O server worker #1-2] INFO 07:28:36.564 Sending BYEBYE...

Also, I get a weird picture when I'm trying to play any files from "Twin.Peaks.S01.720p.iTunes.h264-S3Y" using MEncoder. It's like the image is displayed twice only one picture is tilted to the side. When using Avisynth/MEncoder option I get a message saying: Data corrupt. The TsMuxer option works but doesn't have subtitles :\
