I’ve recently become an official developer of PS3 Media Server and I know some people are curious about what that means for the future of the SubJunk Build.
I will continue to make the SubJunk Build, because I have customised so many things the way I want them in ways that may not line up with what the other developers want, and it is nice to have the freedom to release things instantly instead of waiting on others.
You can expect some things from the SubJunk Build to appear in the official code, and other things will stay out, at least in the short-term.
SB12 is coming soon 🙂

Hi, why are almost all my .mkv files playing very well on my PS3 through your latest PS3MediaServer and some give a ‘data corrupt error’
Can I (quickly) leagalise the ‘bad’ .mkv files with a tool?
Any other sollution?
for example: those files are giving my probs with PS3MS,
but they play perfectly on my Win7 laptop with the use of latest VLC:

I had the same problem. I updated my FFMPEG to 26383 and mplayer/mencoder/mencoder_mt (mencoder duplicated with diff name) to what’s included in 32790.
That fixed the problem files for me. Hope it helps.
Thanks again for your work, SubJunk! I was looking for SOMEONE to release updates as the official build is enhanced. I really appreciate it! Going to bookmark this blog for more info regarding releases. I have been following you guys and your progress on the google code site. 🙂
